Depending on the season and conditions, you could target redfish, snook, spotted seatrout, snapper, sheepshead, Spanish mackerel, and other local species while fishing the bay’s flats, mangrove shorelines, and winding waterways. Captain Frankie follows where the fish are moving that day, giving you a few solid hours to enjoy the water and bring home a fresh catch for dinner.

Captain Frankie will take you through productive flats, mangrove shorelines, and waterways in search of redfish, snook, spotted seatrout, snapper, Spanish mackerel, and other seasonal catches. It’s a great option for anglers who prefer a later start while still getting plenty of time to chase some of Tampa Bay’s most popular inshore species.

Six hours gives you more time to explore Tampa Bay’s inshore waters, from shallow flats and backcountry waterways to protected mangrove shorelines where fish like to feed and take cover. Target snook, redfish, sheepshead, snapper, Spanish mackerel, and other seasonal species while taking in the wildlife that shares these waters, including ospreys, manatees, and even the occasional bald eagle.

Our preparation for your trip begins several days prior and includes rigging tackle, fueling, and netting bait, which is why we ask for at least 7 days cancellation notice. A cancellation fee of 50% cost of the trip will be charged if not cancelled within 7 days of the charter. Forfeit of the $100 deposit will occur if the trip is not cancelled within 30 days.
If for some reason the Captain must cancel or there is inclement weather, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a full refund of deposit.
A little preparation goes a long way toward a comfortable day on the water. Pack the essentials, leave a few things at home, and Captain Frankie will take care of the fishing gear and the rest.
